Somehow, we’ve reached the foot of the oubliette that turned out to be 2020. We may still be stuck there as 2021 arrives but there is just enough light to see the way out now.
For us, it was busy. There was the short-story competition, which provided us with many hours of delightful reading. Our author Caitlin Lynagh released her fourth book Quantum Messenger, which had many fun additions to the marketing, with a single release and a video puzzle to accompany the launch.
So, what’s in store for 2021?
We are doing some things a little different this year. We will not be holding a competition or awarding grants but we will be partnering with CB Creative and Writers’ HQ to provide sponsorships for online writing courses. We will be announcing more details in April, so watch this space.
Before Christmas, we made an executive decision not to sign any new authors this year, so that we could focus our attention on the writers we are currently working with. Then we had an influx of submissions in December, some of which caught our attention, so now we faced with a dilemma! However, submissions are currently closed.
